I would like your view on Beauty pie if you’ve ever used it? That’s where I get quite a few of my face products from but would be interesting to have your humorous take 😂
Funny - I almost put a disclaimer about this in the Brand Guide. I've heard good things (albeit with some mixed feedback) but have never used them - I find the premise overwhelming. I click on the site, get confused and go and shop somewhere else 😂. They also had pretty significant supply chain issues at launch, with only about 40% of their inventory available at any given time. Having just had a look, it looks like they've now stopped their nonsense of 'you can buy stuff, but only the amount that we say, and our whole thing is that we're cheap, but the amount we let you buy is based on how expensive this *could* be'. Trying to figure out what that meant I could put in my basket used to make my head explode. So, once I'm back in the UK, I will give them a try and see how I get on. I do still find their website infuriatingly tricky to navigate - SHOW ME EVERYTHING ON ONE PAGE, FFS 🙄. Their haircare and bodycare excites me more than their skincare though, tbh, but skincare-wise i'd try their enzyme peel in the hope that it's a cheaper dupe for the Elemis papaya one that I really like and I'd probably give Eye Heroes, Superdrops and something from the Youthbomb range a go. Let me know what you like x
Yes I know what you mean! You pay £59 (ish) for the year and then buy as much as you like now. My favourites so far are the super active capsules, their liquid eyeliner (best I’ve tried, and I have the VB kajal!) and niacinamide. However, I am not an expert so would be good to get your take when you’re back. You can piggyback on my subscription if you like!
